There is plenty of free parking around the corner in the 'Cattle Market' carpark and some parking on the main road. There is no parking behind the clinic building.

No – no referral is needed for you to attend Salveo Physiotherapy. You can book an appointment without needing to consult with anyone. We are however - also happy to receive referrals but they are not necessary for you to attend.

Wear whatever you would like to wear that you feel comfortable in. On occasion you may be asked to remove an item of clothing such as your top if you are needing to have your shoulder assessed for example, if however this makes you feel uncomfortable - please say and we can work around clothing.

If an internal assessment is needed there will be privacy for you to undress your lower half and your modesty will be maintained throughout the assessment.

No…you can be reassured that whatever is discussed in your session will be kept highly confidential. If a discussion with a doctor / consultant is necessary, your permission will always be sought first.

We understand that everyone is different and that no one treatment will work exactly the same with each person. Everyone is treated individually, however generally; 4-5 sessions are usually needed.

We do not agree with clinicians who advise people that they need to come back for years for 'maintenance treatment' . We feel it is unethical and always strive to fully resolve an issue or teach you how to continue to manage an ongoing problem.

If we feel you need further investigations - we will always consult with you regarding this and write to the necessary clinicians.

At Salveo Physiotherapy we understand that often the issues you are attending with have been held close to your chest and often not discussed with anyone else. Please be reassured that nothing you will say will surprise, shock or embarrass us. Talking about vaginas, toileting habits, sexual issues pain etc. is what we specialise in…so please don’t be afraid to talk openly with us!

We understand at Salveo Physiotherapy that often women are attending following childbirth so please don’t be afraid to bring your baby with you if you need to.

We are parents to young children and fully understand the difficulties with childcare at times. You are welcome to attend with your children if necessary.
